bug while removing DC offset

Post by asbird »

Hi I have the following problem/bug report:

I have a signal, which has got a significant DC offset (top screenshot).

When I now select and delete the DC component within Spectralayers, then I get noise typ clicks inserted into the signal which were not there before (see red squares). Please have a look here (bottom screenshot):

This problem only occurs, when the Resolution is set to: x4. In case Resolution is x1, this problem does not show. This looks like some kind of window overlap problem to me. Please be aware: This is a 256 kHz sample rate file.

Thanks for reporting. Looks indeed like a buffering effect, will check what happens in detail.
