Retrologue and padshop missing

Post by prophead » Tue Mar 20, 2012 3:59 pm

Hi,
I installed cubase 6.5 on a newly installed pc and upgrade cubase to 6.5.1. I cannot see retrologue or padshop in Cubase, only the old built-in synths are visable? Any ideas on how to get them back?

Hi, I have the same issue with one of my computers. My MBpro has the instruments but my iMac hasn't. I used the same .dmg installer on both computers so I'm not sure why only one machine is working correctly.

Thanks,
Mal

I think I found the solution!

I found a forbidden sign over the folder icon in \Library\Audio\Plug-Ins\VST3. I granted access to my user (CMD+I, Share and Permissions) clicking the "+" button.

Now Cubase can reach the folder with Retrologue and Padshop inside...

I hope it helps for you too!
