Ur-22 latency

Post by hdbob1961 » Thu Nov 28, 2013 1:30 am

I just bought a ur-22 and have it hooked up and running on a Windows 7 64bit system with i3 core. I am getting latency readings of 16.1 input and 19.1 output. Is this a average or normal amount of latency ? I have no idea. Thanks for the input.

That depends on your buffer setting and sample rate.
Lower the buffer size if you need less latency. Leave the sample rate at 44.1kHz unless you know what you're doing.
Software: Steinberg Cubase Pro 8 64-bit.
Hardware: Intel i5 6600, 16Gb DDR3, Win7 64-bit
Mackie Onyx 1620i - Steinberg Midex 8 - Steinberg CC121.

My humble contributions to what could be considered music.

Ok, those latencies seem about right for 512 buffer size.
