If anyone is still using Cubase 5, I figured out how to make this work. Return the Avid, and get a Behringer X-Touch. Cubase 5 users beware of the Avid Artist Mix. The EuCon software acted like a virus in Cubase, causing it to crash, etc. On the phone with tech support 2+ hours trying to eradicate the software from my Mac. Parts are still in there, but I at least got Cubase functioning properly again.
