For all Mackie users, a known weak point of Mackie MCU PRO and MCU PRO XT is the backlight lifetime of the LCD display.
This one need to be replaced every 2 or 3 years or so (at least for me).
Lifetime expectancy could be increased by setting a shorter timer to switch off the backlight after a given time without activity. This parameter seems to be accessible by the DAW as Logic has this function in their Mackie Control panel settings.
It would be nice to have this function in Nuendo/Cubase too; setting the timer to 1 or 2 minutes instead of default 15 minutes could do the job well.
