I think what wavelab sadly still lacks is better support for multichannel files.
Yes, it can import a 6 channel surround file (but only if its non-compressed i.e. with FLAC),
but it would be nice to be able to import a multichannel file that has less then 6 channels (i.e. Quad)
without having to demux the file into the mono channels in he DAW first.
Also, an option to render as a muxed multichannel (and not just mono/stereo channels) would be sweet , even better
with the option to save as FLAC.
