UPDATE!
I have since tried moving my Waves licences over to my hard drive… a process that works beautifully by the way!
Start Cubase - launch a project - try to exit Cubase - Cubase hangs…
So, it’s not isolated to a USB issue!
I’ll report back as this issue developes
