As far as I know not fixed. It was like pulling teeth getting iZotope employees to acknowledge that RX4 is done (no more development), and they maintain that it generally works generally for general users… or something like that. In other words they know there’s a problem, it’s still in RX5, they aren’t going to fix it for existing RX4 users and probably not for RX5 users, but have changed their wording in the promo material to be consistent with reality (which someone could learn a lesson from btw).
So, I have no hope that it will ever work as smoothly as in Pro Tools.
In recent history I can’t think of a single plugin that has been so embraced by the post community as RX. It’s baffling that Steinberg says nothing about it…
