Highlights
VST Live 1.1 adds important new capabilities, including custom Modules to expand its features, display and interaction with PDF files - even turning pages by MIDI command - global store / recall of favourite settings, dedicated tracks for time signature, tempo changes and more.

Modules
Modules is a major new feature of VST Live which allows its capabilities to be significantly expanded. In the same way that you can add inventive new effects plug-ins to your DAW, VST Live modules can be created which bring new dimensions to your live performances, enhancing the performer and audience experience. And with a software developer’s kit available from Steinberg, third party developers can develop new modules for VST Live where the only limit is their imagination.

VST Viewer
VST Viewer is the first module for VST Live, allowing the user to view and show PDF files. This can be used for a wide variety of applications, for example to let musicians see sheet music on their display, show images on screens for the audience or many other uses – it’s up to you! Adjustable Actions can be used to assign MIDI events – for example to turn the pages of PDF sheet music – by pressing a certain key on the keyboard or footswitch. VST Viewer can open many possibilities.
